California Prevention Training Center

About the Center

For over two decades the California Prevention Training Center (CAPTC) has provided capacity building, training, and technical assistance for medical, and other health and community professionals. We are committed to improving health outcomes and well-being for those persons most highly affected by HIV and other STDs. Clinical courses are provided primarily for health professionals in the Department of Health and Human Services Region IX, which includes California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Hawaii.
