About the Center

The STD Prevention Training Center at Johns Hopkins offers clinical training for healthcare providers in the public and private sectors who offer sexual and reproductive health services.
We offer a variety of courses, including, but not limited to, STI Intensive Training, Brightfield and Darkfield Microscopy, topic-specific Grand Rounds, One-Day STI Updates, a Three-Day STI Overview class, and Patient Exam classes. These classes are offered to healthcare providers and sexual health workforce staff in the District of Columbia, the cities of Baltimore (MD) and Philadelphia (PA), and the states of Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The PTC also provides technical assistance to clinics and health care organizations serving citizens in the region. The Training Center Site is located at 1515 W. North Ave, 2nd Floor, suite 326, Baltimore, MD 21217.
