About the Center

The University of Washington STD Prevention Training Center (UW PTC) is dedicated to increasing the knowledge and skills of healthcare providers in the areas of sexual & reproductive health and prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI).

We provide clinicians with a spectrum of state-of-the-art educational opportunities - including experiential learning - in order to meet the changing needs of providers in this field.

Our education and training programs are specifically designed for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and laboratorians. Providers of family planning, adolescent health, women's health, primary care, and urgent care services in public health, community health, or private practice settings are welcome.
