The California Prevention Training Center has been designated as the National Quality Improvement (QI) Center for PTCs across the country. The overall goals of the Center are: to teach QI methods and provide QI resources and assistance to PTCs and their partners, measure the impact of QI training on capacity to provide STD preventive services and screening/treatment outcomes, and to promote a national learning network focusing on QI. The California PTC is partnering with Center for Public Health Quality to provide QI technical assistance and education to PTCs and their partners. By introducing foundational QI methods and tools and allowing sites to share and learn from each other along the way, CPHQ and the National QI Center plan to infuse continuous quality improvement into the STD PTCs.
The QI PTC put on a series of four webinars on QI for STD programs. The webinar guide includes links to the webinars, recordings, and other resources.
